PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of construction work as well as the safeness of constructed face by a method in which a flexible arc-shaped inner frame having many projections and recessions on its inner surface is attached in a vertically slidable manner to the inner surface of each semi-circular ring. CONSTITUTION:A pair of semi-circular rings 1a and 1b having an inclined funnelled face(a) on its inner surface are combined in a freely opening, closing, and connecting manner to form an outer frame A. Flexible arc-shaped inner frames B having many projection and recessions 8, 8 on its inner surface are attached in a vertically slidable manner to the inner surfaces of the rings 1a and 1b. The weight of a pile applies to the device to produce the wedging effect of the frames B, and thereby the pile and the device are integrated with each other. The attaching or detaching of the device to piles can be made simply by driving a wedge into the other ends of the rings 1a and 1b or removing the wedge from the rings 1a and 1b.
