PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment of color balance after a sensitization treatment by providing a layer contg. a specific compd. and layer contg. silver halide having fogging nuclei. CONSTITUTION:The compd. having the repeating unit of formula 1 or >=1 kinds of the compds. expressed by formulas II-V are incorporated into the colloidal silver emulsion layer of a photosensitive material and/or the adjacent layers thereof and the silver halide emulsion having internally the fogging nucleic is incorporated into the emulsion layers except the above-mentioned layers or an intermediate layer.
