A reduction in the cost and improved insensitivity to temperature influences can be achieved in the case of a detector arrangement for a monitoring circuit for the protection of devices which are supported on a plurality of feet, especially high-voltage pylons, in that the detector arrangement includes longitudinal elements, especially loops, or thin resistance wire (which preferably has a low tensile strength) on a load-bearing strip having a high longitudinal extension capability, the load-bearing strip being fitted to endangered regions of the feet of the device.
