<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet from being electrified, eliminate the toner suction before the transfer position, and improve the image quality by using a conductive material for a roller feeding the sheet from a sheet feed section to a transfer section and electrically grounding the roller. CONSTITUTION:A sheet feed roller 1 is made of a conductive material, e.g., chloroprene, metal containing carbon, and it is grounded to a frame 3 by a FG plate 2 at one end or both ends of its shaft. When a conductive material is used for a bearing 17 in place of the FG plate 2, the same effect can be obtained. Accordingly, the electrification of a sheet by the roller is prevented, the toner suction before the transfer position is eliminated, and the image quality can be improved.</p> |
