PURPOSE:To attain the generation of an accurate trapezoidal wave signal and the waveform transmission with high fidelity by arranging a bias circuit comprising a diode or a resistive element between active terminals of both capacitors and connecting each active terminal respectively to each base terminal of a push-pull emitter follower amplifier comprising two kinds of PNP, NPN transistor (TR). CONSTITUTION:Current switching TR switches 2, 3, 8, 9 are turned on (conductive) or turned off (nonconductive). Bias circuits 15, 16 constitute an emitter follower circuit to drive a transmission cable 11. TRs 6, 7 make the emitter follower circuit operative. In the circuit constitution as above, the current switching TR switches 2, 3, 8 and 9 are controlled to turn on the TRs 3, 8 and to turn off the TRs 2, 9 thereby obtaining a positive ramp waveform, and when the TRs are controlled to turn on the TRs 2, 9 and to turn off the TRs 3, 8 conversely, then a negative ramp waveform is obtained, and a trapezoidal wave is obtained by clamping the positive tilt waveform at VH and a negative tilt waveform by VL.
