COLOR MIXING SYSTEM FOR GENERATION OF PATTERN

PURPOSE:To reduce the pattern data quantity by applying the weighting to the pattern data to decide the mixture of colors and forming a structure via a binary tree which performs the mixture of two colors successively in response to the color mixing rate. CONSTITUTION:A converting circuit 11 calculated a prescribed address of a pattern data PD memory part 12 based on the data given from a simulator computer 17 and reads out the PD on the stored pattern component. A PD selecting part 13 selects successively each memory element of the same address and applies the weighting to these memory elements via the part 12. A color mixing part 14 uses the basic colors of a color data part 15 to mix two colors together based on the order prescribed by a binary tree. Thus the mixing action of a single picture element is carried out with all picture elements. As a result, the colors are mixed together on a single screen and therefore the pattern data quantity is reduced.
