The invention concerns a method for utilization of a terminal board with two rows of slit contacts 2, 3 which are arranged at right angles to each other. The board 1 is used for joining, for example, telephone cables. According to the method a jig 15 is used, which is placed in a wall-mounted holder 30 for one or more terminal boards and in which an empty terminal board 1 is placed with the upper slit contacts 2 facing forwards. A first set of wires are taken up behind the terminal board and forward towards to the upper slit contacts 2 and attached therein, after which the terminal board 1 is lifted out of the jig 15 and placed in the holders. Thereafter a second set of wires is taken through clamps 4 on the short sides of the terminal board and attached in the other slit contacts 3 which are now facing forwards. The method according to the invention involves an easier and shorter wire run compared to already-known techniques. <IMAGE> |
