PURPOSE:To enhance the contact density of solid particles on the leading side of heat transfer pipes facing the fluid flow so as to improve the defrosting effect on the leading side of the heat transfer pipes by fitting fins to the heat transfer pipe which forms a divider to break up air bubbles enclosed by the solid particles. CONSTITUTION:Multiple heat transfer pipes 2 are disposed in the body shell 1 in a staggered formation. Horizontally adjacent heat transfer pipes 2 are connected by fins 6, and, by drilling multiple holes 6a in the fins 6 to allow a free passage of solid particles 4, an air bubble divider 7 is formed. Thus, the fluid flow (a) and solid particles 4 are caused to positively contact with the fins 6 to improve the heat transfer performance of the heat transfer pipes 2. Further, air bubbles (b) generated in the body shell 1 by the jet of the fluid flow (a) are broken up into smaller ones when they pass through the holes 6a in the fins 6, i.e. air bubble divider 7. Therefore, the density of the solid particles 4 on the leading side is enhanced.
