PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent sensitivity of the titled body, and to improve the durability, the electrification and residual potential characteristics of the titled body by incorporating a metallic complex body to a photoelectric charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled body consists of a conductive supporting body, the photoelectric charge generating layer laminated on the conductive supporting body, and an electric charge transfer layer laminated on the photoelectric charge generating layer. The photoelectric charge generating layer comprises the metallic complex body. Especially, the photoelectric charge generating layer contains said metallic complex body shown by formula I. The metallic complex body is exemplified by the metallic complex body contg. 3-sulfo-2,6-dichloro-3',3''- dimethyl-4'-hydroxy Fuchsone-5',5''-dicarboxylic acid 3 Na salt as a ligand, and contg. Al, Cu, Fe, Ni, Th, Be, Co, Cr, Ga, Hf, In, La, Lu, Mn, Mo, Pd, Rh, Ru, Sc, Ti, U, V, Zn, or Zr as the metal. Thus, the titled body having the excellent sensitivity and durability, and the excellent electrification and residual potential characteristics is obtd. |
