PURPOSE:To secure such a low vibration type engine that is more quiet than a conventional engine,, by setting it down to a fully symmetrical type engine which divides a crankshaft into two shafts,, having respective pistons out of both these crankshafts opposed to each other, and houses them in a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:With pistons 1a and 1b are advanced toward the central part from a bottom dead point at the double end position of a cylinder 3, if they run past suction ports 7a and 7b, an air-fuel mixture is led into each of crank chambers 10a and 10b from a carburetor by way of these suction ports 7a and 7b. Furthermore, if a piston position advances forward, the air-fuel mixture in a combustion chamber 8 is made into high pressure, and when it is reached to a top dead point, it is ignited by spark plugs 11a and 11b, exploded into combustion, thereby pushing these pistons 1a and 1b back. And these pistons 1a and 1b open exhaust ports 5a and 5b, discharging exhaust gas to the outside. Then, the mixture flows into the combustion chamber. Therefore, vibrations to be produced by reciprocating motion of a piston system are negated to each other so that a vibration acting on an engine body is thus abatable. |
