A front-wheel drive motor vehicle including an elevator assembly orientable with non-planar ground surfaces. In this vehicle, the elevator platform P is constituted by a planar portion of the floor of the vehicle which is pivotally connected to orientable guide devices between two longitudinally extending side-members of the chassis. Each side-member carries a rear wheel. The rear transverse edge of the portion of the floor is located behind the axis of the rear wheels of the vehicle and the opposite transverse edge of the portion of the floor is located between the axis of the front wheels and the axis of the rear wheels of the vehicle.
