The present invention concerns, in brief, a mounting arrangement for laying floors, comprising separate board- shaped and plate-shaped floor elements 1 and profiles 10. The profiles 10 are intended to be secured at the edges of these elements and are provided with flanges 11-14 which project into grooves and recesses 21-23, essentially complementary to these, in the edges of the floor element 1. One recess 23 has an end wall 32 directed towards the end edge of a flange 11, 12 and, in the correctly laid position, this end edge 31 bears against the end wall 32. Between the profile 10 and the adjacent part of the edge portion of the floor element 1 there is, in the correctly laid position, an intermediate space running in the horizontal direction. One groove 25 is formed in the bottom 24 of the floor element 1 parallel to the end walls 32 and separated from these by a break portion 35 which is designed to be broken loose when it is subjected to the swelling forces which are caused by increased moisture of the floor elements 1, and the flanges are then allowed to penetrate deeper into the grooves and recesses. <IMAGE> |
