PURPOSE:To install the piled cut paper sheets exceedingly easily onto a cassette body by installing a cam member for pushing down an intermediate plate against the urging force of an urging means according to the swing of a separating lever. CONSTITUTION:A cassette 2 is inserted into the paper feeding port 11 of a printer body 1. Therefore, the cam part 15c of a separating lever 15 is pushed down by a guide 17 midway, and a separating plate 16 installed onto the separating lever 15 is pushed down. Then, the rear edge part of a paper is pushed down, and the longitudinal curl on the paper is corrected through the holding by a projection part 14b. When the cassette 2 is pushed in against the urging force of a spring 31, the cam parts 15b and 15c get over the guide 17, and the cam part 2a of the cassette 2 pushed away a pin 5a, and the cam parts 15a and 15b are locked at the position getting over the cam part 2a. In this state, the projection part 35 of the printer body 1 positions the top edge part of the cassette 2, and SW4 and SW5 are selectively put into turned-ON state.
