PURPOSE:To exactly execute an optical measurement, an optical signal processing, etc., by coloring a supporting member in order to suppress a fact that a light beam which has invaded a supporting member from the outside surface is propagated through an optical waveguide part. CONSTITUTION:A colored supporting member 2 is prepared, the inner wall of a hollow part of the supporting member 2 is brought to coating by a clad 4, and an optical waveguide part 3 is formed in a space surrounded by the clad 4. In such a way, a light beam which has invaded the supporting member 2 from the outside is absorbed by a colorant and attenuated at the time of passing through the supporting member 2, therefore, a level of the light beam which goes into the optical waveguide part 3 and propagates can be suppressed up to a prescribed rate, and a measurement, a signal processing, etc. of the light beam which is radiated from a light emitting element 5 and propagated through the optical waveguide part 3 can be executed with a satisfactory S/N. |
