The invention relates to radiating-wire antennas, usable in particular for metre waves. The radiating part 1 of the antenna includes two or three wires 2, 3 regularly distributed over the generators of a cone with downward-pointing tip. To reduce the standing wave ratio, capacitors C1-C4, C1'-C4' are inserted in the radiating wires. Between the radiating part 1 and the supply line F, a transformer T provides for impedance matching. Application, in particular, to metre wave links and to low-power decametre wave radio broadcasting antennas. <IMAGE>
