PURPOSE:To provide an effective utilization of heat of coolant gas and simplify a heat insulating structure by a method wherein heated medium is flowed in a first pipe and a third pipe and a coolant gas in counterflowed in a second pipe of a triple pipe having the second pipe arranged at the outer periphery of the first pipe and the third pipe arranged at an outer periphery of the second pipe. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 1 is comprised of a second pipe 3 arranged around the outer periphery of a first pipe 2 at its center part and a third pipe 4 around an outer periphery of the second pipe 3 so as to form a triple pipe structure. To the first pipe 2 and the third pipe 4 waters 5 and 7 acting as heated medium are flowed while to the second pipe 3 a hot coolant gas 6 is flowed. The second pipe 2 is composed of a steel pipe having leakage sensing grooves capable of detecting leakage of water or gas from the pipe and then a drinking water can be available. Hot water obtained by the third pipe 4 can be utilized for daily life in a bath or a washing and the like. Fluid flowing in the third pipe 4 may act to provide heat insulating action. When this action, it is possible to utilize the heat of the coolant gas 6 effectively, the heat insulating structure can be eliminated or simplified and a piping cost can be decreased. |
