PURPOSE:To easily and exactly form and record a three-dimensional pattern being directly visible in high profitability and convenient three-dimensional recording medium, by bringing the inside of a transparent cube containing a thermosensible coloring substance, to an optical scan by a luminous flux corresponding to recording information. CONSTITUTION:When a transparent cube recording medium 11 of an aggregate of a dispersion medium constituted of a colloidal dyestuff thermosensible coloring body 15, and a light transmissive high polymer resin containing a developer component 16 by a solid acid is brought to a condensing scan in accordance with recording information, an internal uniform part 12 corresponding to a focusing point of the medium 11 is colored by the luminous flux density by condensing. Subsequently, a three-dimensional pattern image corresponding to the recording information is formed and recorded. According to such constitution, to the high profitable and convenient three-dimensional recording medium, a three-dimensional pattern being directly visible can be recorded easily and exactly without using the reproduced light.
