PURPOSE:To aim at simplifying the arrangement of a hydraulic indexing device by communicating the clamp and unclamp hydraulic chambers of an indexing cylinder, respectively with the clamp and unclamp chambers of a clamp cylinder cooperated with the indexing device, and by feeding hydraulic pressure into the clamp chamber after the pressure of the clamp hydraulic chamber is built up. CONSTITUTION:The clamp hydraulic chamber 19 of an indexing cylinder 16 is communicated with the clamp chamber 61 of a tool bed turret clamp cylinder 60 through a clamp port, and the unclamp hydraulic chamber 19 thereof is communicated with the unclamp chamber 62 of the clamp cylinder 50 through an unclamp port. The pressure receiving area of the unclamp hydraulic chamber 20 is larger than that of the clamp hydraulic chamber 19. Further, in order that hydraulic oil is fed into the clamp chamber 61 after the pressure of the clamp hydraulic chamber 19 is built up, an indexing pin 21 is formed therein a radial through-hole 45 for communicating the clamp hydraulic chamber 19 with the outer periphery of the pin, and in its outer periphery with a circumferential groove 34, and a cylinder casing 17 is formed therein inner peripheral grooves 30, 31 communicated with the clamp and unclamp ports.
