摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient corrosion resistance with the medium itself by adding two kinds of elements, Cr and Pd, to an amorphous alloy which consists of TbFeCo having magnetic anisotropy in the direction perpendicular to the film plane. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of the elements, Cr and Pd, are added to the amorphous alloy which consists of the TbFeCo having the magnetic anisotropy in the direction perpendicular to the film plane. A passivation film is liable to be formed on the surface of the amorphous alloy when the Cr is added thereto. This film acts as a protective film and effectively suppresses the local oxidation and selective oxidation in particular. The Pd not only makes contribution to the formation of the passivation film but also has the effect of chemically stabilizing the amorphous alloy; more particularly, the Pd has the preventive power to a salt soln. and effectively suppresses wet corrosion. The stable region of the amorphous alloy is thereby spread to plural oxidation modes by adding two kinds of the elements Cr and Pd and the corrosion resistance is improved overall.
