PURPOSE:To simply, quickly execute the split processing of drawing with high accuracy by providing a means giving an instruction to designate a cross point between a straight line or a circular-arc and a dividing line of a closed drawing and a direction of the dividing line. CONSTITUTION:In the split processing of a drawing, an instruction from a means 3 to give an instruction via a CPU 1 at first is displayed on a CRT 2 and confirmed. That is, in the constitution, it is constituted by an instruction to give cross points 81, 82 between a straight line or a circular-arc and dividing lines 61-65 in a closed drawing, e.g., an instruction to indicate the center as to a longitudinal line segment and the direction of the split lines 61-65 prolonged from the cross points. Then the instruction is confirmed on the CRT 2 and then executed via a CPU 1, resulting that the dividing lines 61-65 on the CRT 2 are prolonged from the points 81, 82 as the instruction and the desired split lines to divide the outer closed drawing are accurately obtained. Thus, the dividing processing of the drawing is simply, quickly executed with high accuracy.
