PURPOSE:To discriminate line renewal having no line renewal command easily from line renewal based upon a line renewal command by descending digits optionally from the position of line renewal based upon the line renewal command so as to start printing of the line renewal having no line renewal command. CONSTITUTION:A computer body 11 outputs a format command at first and then outputs a data list. Receiving the format command, a CPU13 sets up a parameter F specified at that time in an F register 22. The printing start digit of each line is specified by the parameter F. When the data list sent from the computer 11 reaches its end, printing advances up to carriage return and then line is fed. If carriage return does not exist, printing advances up to the right end, and when printing reaches the right end, ''the number of characters in a line-F'' digits are moved left, line is fed by one line and then the line is printed. |
