PURPOSE:To certainly hold a workpiece in a stocker by supporting the workpiece by means of a workpiece receiver having a groove the cross section of which is like a V shape, conveying the workpiece receiver to another position after cutting off and discharging the workpiece to the side of a stocker through the engaging bar being engaged with the workpiece and moving along the groove. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece receiver 6 is moved in the direction of the arrow A along with a slider unit 10 in a body, and a work piece 5 is cut off after the confirmation by means of a switch SW1. In the next step, the cut-off workpiece 5 is conveyed in the direction of the arrow B, and after the confirmation with a switch SW2, a chain 18 is turned in the direction of the arrow in compliance with the signals confirming the engaging bar 19 fixed to the chain 18 by means of a proximity switch SW3. And the engaging bar 19 having passed a chain sprocket 17 is moved in the direction of the arrow B being engaged with the workpiece 5. In the next step, the workpiece 5 is certainly and highly reliably discharged to the side of a stocker that is the V shaped groove formed by the V shaped groove 6A of the workpiece receiver 6 and the plate 3A interpolating a notch section 6B.
