PURPOSE:To inform the kind of an org. solvent by instantaneously detecting the kind of the solvent arriving at a sensor, by providing the sensor, an operator and an alarm. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus 1 is constituted of a sensor 2, an operator 5 supplying a current between the electrodes 3, 3 of the sensor 2 to calculate the kind of the org. solvent arriving at the sensor 2 and an alarm 6 responding to the calculation value of the operator 5 to inform the kind of the solvent 4. When a current is supplied to the sensor 2 from the operator 5 and the increase ratio of a resistance value immediately after the arrival point of time of the solvent 4 is calculated by the operator 5, the kind of the solvent 4 is instantaneously judged and can be informed. Therefore, necessary actions such as control can be rapidly taken according to the solvent 4.
