PURPOSE:To facilitate postprocessing by an operator by providing an abnormal electrostatic discharging detecting means, a decision means, and an abnormality postprocessing means which performs postprocessing by judging that a normal image forming process is not performed at the time of deciding that the decision means exerts an influence. CONSTITUTION:A sequencer 21 has a function for deciding whether or not the detection signal of an overcurrent detecting circuit 14 which is supplied through an input/output circuit 22 affects an image area in terms of timing by using the time table of a predetermined image formation process and whether or not abnormal discharging has energy large enough to affect an image from the output time (pulse width) of the detection signal. When it is decided that the influence is exerted in both cases, a control command for the postprocessing is outputted. Consequently, even if abnormal discharging occurs in a process of large-quantity copying operation, the postprocessing by the operator is facilitated and an easy-to-operate copying machine is obtained. |
