PURPOSE:To eliminate the selection mistake of a printing pattern and to obtain a desired printing pattern by one selection, by selecting predetermined decoration from the menu displayed on a menu display means and displaying the display pattern corresponding to the printing pattern to which the selected decoration is applied. CONSTITUTION:When a decoration printing key 3 is pushed, a decoration printing menu and a decoration printing pattern are displayed on a display device 8 and an erected character is displayed by three kinds of a black character, a frame character and a broken character. Next, the key moving to the right from a cursor moving key group 4 is pushed, a cursor C2 is moved in the right direction. Herein, the display picture when the cursor moving key is pushed two times is displayed. Since the cursor C2 is present at the position of '30 deg.', the form of a character inclined by 30 deg. corresponding to the position of the cursor is selected and read from the display pattern part in ROM 1a to be displayed by three kinds of the same characters. When the form of a character is finished, a practice key 6 is pushed to perform decoration printing. By this method, since a decorated printing pattern can be visually confirmed by the display pattern, operation becomes easy. |
