PURPOSE:To enable a smooth connection by connecting a clutch with an atmospheric air introduced into the inside of the control chamber of an actuator via a control valve duty-controlled when the difference between an engine speed and a number of revolution of a transmission becomes above a set value. CONSTITUTION:In a device in which a clutch 1 is cutoff-operated via a connecting member 4 and an operating rod 3 by a tread-on operation of a clutch pedal 2, an actuator 5 having a piston 5a and a control chamber 5b housing a push-back spring 5c are provided, and the piston 5a is interlocked and joined to the clutch pedal 2 via a joining member 6. In the control chamber 5b, an atmospheric air is freely introduced or shut off via a control valve 7, and the control valve 7 is controlled according to an engine operating condition by a controller 10. That is, when the difference between an engine speed and a number of revolution of a transmission becomes above a set value, the control valve 7 is duty-controlled with a duty ratio set according to the engine speed and a throttle opening.
