The present patent application relates to new sulphonylbenzimidazole derivatives and to the preparation of these compounds. It also relates to the use in agriculture as pesticides, especially fungicides and acaricides, of the sulphonylbenzimidazole derivatives. The compounds according to the invention are characterised in that they correspond to the general formula I: <IMAGE> R1 represents a lower alkyl radical or an amino radical optionally substituted by one or two lower alkyl radicals. R2 represents a lower alkyl radical. Z1, Z2, Z3 and Z4, which are identical or different, each represent a group chosen from =CH-, -CR- or =N-.
