PURPOSE:To prevent a slide core block and an abutting surface or an abutting pin from rubbing each other and consequently bring the flash of a molded item due to wear to nil and at the same time improve the mold life by a method wherein the slide core block and the molded item are floated together with a movable retainer plate, which is connected to an ejection plate, before the slide core block actuates. CONSTITUTION:When a retainer plate 13 and a movable retainer plate 14 are parted from each other for mold opening, first of all, the movable retainer plate 14 is parted from a support plate 15 by means of a heavy-duty wire spring 17. At this time, since a movable cavity 3 does not move by being fixed to the support plate 15 with locking bolts 4, the slide core block 2 is floated from an abutting surface 18 through the parting of the movable retainer plate 14 from the support plate 15. Further, since the movable retainer plate 14 and a return pin are connected with each other by means of a collar 7 and a locking bolt 8, an ejection plate 16 is actuated, resulting in floating a molded item in the same manner as the slide core block. Consequently, the flash of the molded item, which is to be generated at an abutting part due to the wear between the slide core block and the abutting surface or abutting pin, is brought to nil. In addition, the mold life is improved.
