PURPOSE:To relieve the load of the host by returning end information to a host computer when an end flag provided to a terminal equipment is set from the reset state so as to store a communication procedure between the terminal equipment and an external equipment at the terminal equipment side. CONSTITUTION:A host computer HCMPT1 transfers a communication procedure of an intemediate language generated in a file 8 prior to the communication with a terminal equipment 4 and an external device 5 to the equipment 4. A processing section 20 of the equipment 4 starts sending a text stored in a buffer 12 to the equipment 5 and sets an end flag 21, and when the analysis section 19 finds out the end command or the next text transmission command in fetching each command from the storage section 13, then the section 19 resets the end flag 21. When the flag 21 is set from the reset state, the processing section 20 sets end information representing the normal end or abnormal end and the control section 22 returns the end information to the HCMPT1 depending on the set state.
