<p>PURPOSE:To avoid to give an user unnecessary confusion without displaying data on abnormal part beyond the operation period of operation switches by providing a display control means which interlocks to the operation of the operation switches and which supplies data on abnormal part to a display part when abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:A main microcomputer 10 finds the occurrence of abnormality by signals from a reel rotary pulse or a second and a third microcomputers 50 and 58, and sets the mechanic system of a VTR to a stop state and disables operation switches 62, 64, 66 and 68. It simultaneously flicker-drives a light- emitting element for injection 72 and displays the occurrence of abnormality to the user. A repair man depresses the stop switch 62 and the slow reproduction switch 68 of the VTR. If there two switches 62 and 68 continue to be depressed for more than 2sec, the main microcomputer 10 detects the depression, outputs and displays data on abnormal part to an LCD display part 70. Thus, data on abnormal part is not displayed only if abnormality occurs in the VTR, whereby unnecessary confusion is not given to the user.</p> |
