摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an amorphous solar cell capable of obtaining large output power even if its area is small, by linking at least two of the first and second cell elements in a parallel state and reducing effects of illuminance and spectra and improving conversion efficiency of the solar cell. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell is formed in two-layered tandem structure of pin/ nip. Each of two unit cells comprises the first cell element 4 and the second cell element 2 and these elements are connected in parallel. Namely, the first electrode ITO layer 8 is connected with the second electrode Al layer 1 by means of a +electrode 7. An intermediate electrode ITO layer 3 is inserted between a (n) layer 4c of the first cell element 4 connected with -electrode 5 and a (n) layer 2c of the second cell element 2. Respective unit cells are connected in series with each other. Therefore, because respective voltages of the two cell elements are identical with each other, currents of the two layers need not be identical with each other, so that a film thickness of each cell element can be freely determined and a larger current can be taken out by lowering series resistance.
