PURPOSE:To obtain the titled paint suitable for food, meeting the water-quality standard, resistant to gasoline, ketone and crude oil over a long period and capable of coating a substrate such as iron with a film resistant to strong acid over a long period, by compounding a specific amount of a vinylidene chloride resin emulsion to an epoxy resin paint. CONSTITUTION:The objective paint is composed of (A) 90-99.5% epoxy resin paint (preferably tar-epoxy resin paint) and (B) 0.5-10% vinylidene chloride resin emulsion.
