<p>PURPOSE:To detect coordinates with high accuracy by detecting the peak level of the detecting signal of a vibration sensor and controlling the amplification factor of the detecting signal in response to the detected peak level of the detecting signal. CONSTITUTION:The detection of coordinates is impossible when the level of the vibration detecting signal is extremely reduced by the conditions especially like obstacles, the writing pressure, etc. At the same time, the detecting accuracy is also deteriorated. In this respect, a means is added to detect the peak level of the detecting signal of a vibration sensor 6 together with a means which controls the amplification factor of the detecting signal in response to said detected peak level. Thus it is possible to automatically control the detecting signal amplification factor within a range where a proper detecting signal level is secured in accordance with the peak level of the detecting signal. As a result, an accurate coordinate arithmetic operation is carried out.</p> |
