PURPOSE:To obtain a miniaturized cartridge with thin profile by providing four tracking coils on the same plane around a magnet and providing another coil in a space around the magnet to control power application and driving three-dimensionally a stylus provided to the other end of an arm. CONSTITUTION:Coil supports 2a-2d fixed to an outer frame 1 are provided with tracking coils 3a-3d. The magnet 11 is contained in a cylinder section 6b of a suspension made of a flexible material and bridged over inner frames 15, one end of the arm 7 is fixed and the stylus 9 facing a disc 10 is fixed to the other end of the arm 7. An arm stretcher coil 4 is provided to a part positioned at the rear of the arm 7. The coils 3a-3d are provided at an upper or a lower part different from a plane on whitch the magnetic 11 is arranged. A DC voltage energizing a stylus pressure by an amplifier circuit and a control signal for tracking are impressed to the coils 3a-3d. The coil 4 moves axially the arm 7 by power application. Thus, thin profile and miniaturization are attained. |
