PURPOSE:To satisfactorily confirm transmission and also to assure communication by providing a report picture production means which produces the transmission completion report of an original picture into a picture in addition to a transmitter for original picture and a receiver which records the received picture and then recording the picture produced by said report picture production means on the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A report picture production means 50 is driven when it receives information on the completion of original transmission from a transmission state recording means 25 and waits for a fact that a receiver state recording means 32 records the state of a receiver against transmission of the final original. Then the date, the address and the number of transmitted originals are taken out of a timepiece circuit 60, a set information storing means 11 and the means 25 respectively. While the receiving situation is obtained from the information on the receiver state recorded to the means 32. Thus a synthetic picture is obtained. The means 50 drives a picture recording means 40 when a picture is completely produced like a case where the means 40 is driven via a picture signal storing means 33 working as a receiver. Then a report picture is recorded on the recording paper 41 and ejected.
