A membrane concentration mirror has a film (foil, sheet) stretched over a basic body in an airtight manner and such that it can be deformed under the influence of an applied partial vacuum. In order to achieve a high mechanical strength in conjunction with a light structural design and advantageous optical properties, provision is made for it to be composed of a plurality of basic body segments (6) which in each case are individually connected to the at least one device for generating a partial vacuum. The individual basic body segments (6) can be mounted in such a manner that they can be swivelled counter to a spring force, so that, when a specific wind speed is exceeded, they are swivelled and present to the wind only an insignificant catching area. <IMAGE>
