PURPOSE:To prevent solid pitch from sticking to a carrier by coating the carrier to be brought into direct contact with the solid pitch with a mold releasing agent in advance when transporting the solid pitch such as coal tar pitch. CONSTITUTION:When solid pitch is to be transported by a dump truck, the portion of a carrier 2 to be brought into direct contact with the solid pitch is coated with a mold releasing agent in advance. For this mold releasing agent, a normal mold releasing agent used on the metal when various rubber, plastic, etc. are fabricated is used, but a fluorine mold releasing agent is preferably used. Accordingly, the solid pitch is prevented from sticking to the carrier, the peeling-off work required in the past is not required, and the unloading is facilitated.
