PURPOSE:To improve the quality and yield of a product by subjecting the separating space of original plates for cladding metals disposed with a separating material therebetween in the inside of a composite to evacuation and pressure reduction and then hot rolling the composite. CONSTITUTION:The original plate 2 for the cladding metal is disposed via the separating member 3 on the other original plate 2 for the cladding metal and a weld zone 8 is formed at the circumference except a discharge port 7. The separating space where the material 3 is disposed is then deaerated and sealed hermetically down to <=5Torr degree of vacuum through the port 7. The hermetically sealed original plate 2 is further disposed via insert metals 4 between steels 1 which are base materials and after a gas absorptive material 5 is interposed between the same and a peripheral frame material 6, hermetic welding is executed. Finally, the space 16 is deaerated and the composite is hot rolled. Since the separating space of the material 3 is substantially evacuated, the annihilation of the deaeration effect of the space 16 is prevented at the time of rolling. The quality and yield of the product are, therefore, improved.
