PURPOSE:To measure a slow-wave line current by providing a cylindrical vacuum envelope in a divided end part of the slow-wave circuit structure and connecting one end of central conductors to a wired waveguide line of a slow- wave circuit structure and the other end to a current detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Each vacuum-resistant coaxial terminal 12a and 12b is provided to each end part of a divided end part 6 of cylindrical vacuum envelope lines 5a and 5b respectively, and each end of central conductors 13a and 13b is connected to each end of helixes 4a and 4b respectively. A electric current flowed into helixes 4a and 4b is discharged to the outside via conductors 13a and 13b of terminals 12a and 12b. In the outside, the other end voltage of the conductor 13a is dropped to the envelope line 5a, that is, the earth electric potential via a resistance 14, and both ends voltage of the resistance 14 is measured. Thus, the helix current can be measured.
