PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of operations as well as the yield of flat base plate formation by lowering the operation level by a method in which a clamp frame clamping a flat base plate is fixed to a receiving base, the receiving base is lowered to the press position, an upper mold is lowered, and the flat base material being heated is molded between the upper mold and the lower mold. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin flat base plate 10 is clamped by a clamp frame 14, and the clamp frame 14 is delivered to a heating furnace 17 by operating a chain conveyer 12. The plate 10 is heated to a given temperature and delivered to a press device 21. The fame 14 delivered from the conveyer 12 is exactly placed on a receiving base 26 lifted up to a position close to the deliver level P. The collision of the flat base plate 10 with draw-down l formed by heating against the lower mold 22 can thereby be prevented. The base 26 is lowered to the press position by an elevating mechanism 25, the upper mold 23 is lowered, and the plate 10 is molded into a desired shape by the upper mold 23 and the lower mold 22 on the fixed side. |
