<p>Adenosines of formula (I), wherein Ar is (II), (III) or (IV), wherein A is oxygen or sulfur. The adenosines have highly selective A2 receptor binding activity and useful properties advantageous in treating cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension, angina or myocardial ischemia, pain, insomnia and psychosis. Also a novel preparation of selected adenosines.</p> |
