PURPOSE:To assay multi-component saccharide simultaneously at a high accuracy by performing a spectrophotofluorometry of saccharide after a reaction of saccharide to which an aqueous solution of boric acid is added with basic amino acid. CONSTITUTION:A pump 11 of a reaction reagent feed pipeline 4 and a pump 23 of a fast liquid chromatograph equipment body 25 are operated to feed a reaction reagent comprising an aqueous solution of boric acid containing a basic amino acid and a column liquid eluent to the reaction liquid pipeline 9, where they are maintained in a constant condition. Then, as injected into a column 2 from an injection section 24 of the body, the sample is separated with a column into each component, eluted into the reaction liquid pipeline 9 through an liquid eluent pipeline 3 to be mixed with the reaction reagent. Then, the mixture is heated in a heating cell 6 to be reacted and cooled down to the room temperature passing through a cooling cell 7. Subsequently, the concentration of individual sample components thus separated is detected with a spectrophotofluorometer or an ultraviolet ray absorptiometer 8. |
