The present invention relates to an extraction device for use with arc-welding tools for evacuating the smoke formed during the arc-welding, the device being connected to a suction source and comprising a handle, which is tubular and constitutes a duct for the welding smoke and which is connected to a suction pipe enclosing a consumption-type welding electrode. According to the invention, the suction pipe 1 is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the electrode 2 and has a slot 4 along essentially the whole of its length and that part of the slot 4 which is located below the handle 8 is covered by a band 6. <IMAGE> |
