PURPOSE:To enable the correct measurement of a resin quantity extruded through an extrusion molding machine, by a method wherein relation between a number of revolutions of a screw and extruded quantity is approximated with a calculating expression fixed beforehand according to a kind of resin. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 reads in a number of revolutions N of a screw detected by a detector 6 of the number of revolutions of the screw through an A/D converter 5 and obtains an extruded quantity through an expression E=aN<2>+bN+c(provided that a, b and c are constants fixed according to a kind of resin and temperature of the resin). Then when a time DELTAT (minute) elapses, a resin quantity DELTAQ (g) extruded during the time DELTAT is calculated through the next expression. DELTAQ=E.DELTAT. Then the CPU 1 adds the total resin quantity Q stored in an integral data area of the resin quantity of an auxiliary memory 4 and the calculated resin quantity DELTAQ together, which is stored again in the integral data area as the fresh total resin quantity Q. The total resin quantity which has integrated the calculated resin quantity DELTAQ by repeating the action is obtained. |
