PURPOSE:To easily inspect a heat conduction tube by remote operation through an inspection hole at the time of inspection by providing a sensor at the top of a flexible cable, inserting it into the heat conduction tube, and moving the sensor to an optional position. CONSTITUTION:The inspection hole 2 of a heat exchanger main body 1 is opened to set an inspection device and then a motor 9 is driven to rotate a turntable 6; and a motor 80 is driven to rotate a rotary shaft 8, so that the sensor 30 can be positioned on an optional heat conduction tube 14 by the combination of two motors. At this time, the flexible cable 3 is unwound from a drum 31 and the sensor 30 at the tip part is projected from a holder 37 and inserted into the heat conduction tube 14 to perform inspection to the overall length. Similarly, the operation is repeated to inspect heat conduction tubes 14a and 14b in order. Consequently, a specific number of heat conduction tubes 14 among many tubes are inspected to know decreases in thickness and the corrosion states of the heat conduction tubes.
