A collar for junction points or connection points of electrical cables consists of a sleeve which is connected at the ends to one end body in each case, in a liquid-tight manner. The end bodies have through-holes for the insertion of a cable into the collar, whose ends are shrunk onto the surface of the cables. The moisture-tight connection between the end bodies and the sleeves is effected by clamping strips which engage around annular beads and hold them together. In order to open the collar, the sleeve can be pushed in the longitudinal direction, it being possible to fold back an annular bead.
