Method for preparing a food product comprising the steps of subjecting a piece of dough to a treatment such that an outer crust is formed on only part of the piece and applying a filling on to the piece of dough such that the filling is in contact with at least part of the outer crust area but substantially not in contact with the outer non-crust area of the piece. Preferably the food product is a sandwich type food product. |
