PURPOSE:To promote the miniaturization of a device, by inserting a stopper member into a hole in the diametric direction of a power piston through a clearance in the axial direction and providing the stopper member so as to be adapted to the internal surface of an enclosed shell structure when the device is inoperative. CONSTITUTION:A power piston 5, which provides in its cylinder part 8 a through hole 32 drilled in the diametric direction, is equipped with a flat plate-shaped stopper member 40 inserted with a play movably in the axial direction in the through hole 32. The stopper member 40, which protrudes its both ends from the through hole 32, can be adapted to the internal surface of a rear shell structure 3 of an enclosed shell structure 1. While the stopper member, forming its upper halved part in a fork shape, mounts a valve plunger 23 into the U-shaped groove. While the power piston 5, whose position is adjusted by adjusting an adjusting screw 41, enables a clearance with the stopper member 40 to be adjusted. Accordingly, a device, providing the stopper in the inside, can be miniaturized, further an in effective stroke of a brake pedal can be eliminated by enabling a valve clearance to be fine adjusted. |
