<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the meandering control by storing actual right and left draft leveling amounts by manual intervention into the meandering control and holding the stored values as correction signals until end of the manual intervention. CONSTITUTION:A meandering amount detectors 6, 7 catching both end part positions of a rolled stock M is installed on the inlet side of a rolling mill 1 and a computing element 8, a comparison computing element 9, and a meandering control adjuster 12 connecting with the detectors 6, 7 are also installed. When manual adjustment by an operator is performed, a switch 19 is turned to On and an actual draft leveling amount obtained by an arithmetic unit 25 is stored in a memory 16. At the same time, a switch 18 turns off and draft position adjustment by a manual leveling adjuster 20 is performed by setting an actual leveling amount at intervention time as a criterion. Thus, the meandering control is stabilized because a smooth manual adjustment is performed.</p> |
