PURPOSE:To prevent an accident of unexpected lock of a steering shaft while running by actuating an actuator when a signal from a position detecting terminal, a stoppage detecting signal, and a locking signal are inputted. CONSTITUTION:The frame 1 of a steering lock is provided with a freely rotatable cylinder case 2, and at a side of the case 2 is provided a check lever 13 as the holding member of a locking rod 8 capable of oscillating about a moving pin 12. A signal is sent to a controller 21 by pushing a predetermined button in a keyboard 20, and the controller 21 detects a signal of stoppage of a car from a speed sensor 22, detects the lock position by a lock position detecting terminal 23, energizes a subactuator 15, and then electrically energized a main actuator 10, so as to release a stopper plate 19. |
